Inspired by the picture: How come we still haven’t recovered from the age of panicky crawling backwards ..? As witnessed by the lack of real, true investment for the longer term. Longer term, not being as in “Short term I would usually define before lunch. Long term is after lunch”. But long term, like invest heaps now, reap the benefits over the decades. If not when there would be true investments made, things like the CN tower and other, relatively, follies, could again bolster the general spirit of a region, leading to unmeasurable but enormous productivity and general well-being gains.
